We’ve come so far and overcome so much, but with all that this country has endured, we still find ourselves fighting the same battles repeatedly. We search life for answers to the same struggles from time past with all the technology, intellect, and creativity. When will it end? Are you tired yet?

The Richness of Soil

This country is known for its rich diverse culture, deep connections, and integral way of life. The advancement, systems, networks, and architectural landscape; are a privilege to experience. A country founded on “God We Trust”, its biblical beliefs helped shape the fabric of what America was known for. “The land of the free and the home of the brave” has been an anthem for generations although stained with the pains of division, hate, and struggles for territory that only belongs to a higher power. What a blessing it is for the creator of heaven and earth to allow a multi-generational group of people to occupy.

History’s Landscape

The ever-evolving story of America is centuries long. While some cultures migrated, others were privileged to be born in America making it the only home they’ve known. “America, as a country, isn’t owned by any single individual or group”. America is a sovereign nation governed by its people through democratic institutions and laws.” Every citizen in America has important roles and responsibilities that contribute to the functioning and well-being of the nation. Some of the roles included but were not limited are voting, community involvement, civic responsibility, environmental stewardship, promoting equality and justice, education and awareness, work and innovation, and supporting the community.

Stronger Together

Although America started with Indigenous peoples or Native Americans; America has been known as the home of African Americans, Hispanic/Latinos, Asian Americans, European Americans, Middle Eastern Americans, Pacific Islanders, and Multiracial and Mixed Heritage Cultures. All involving numerous waves of migrations over thousands of years. The benefits of being in a country rich in culture for all are the vast Geographical Size, Cultural Mosaic, Economic Opportunities, Constitutional Values, Educational Institutions, Technological Advancements, and most importantly Immigrant Contributions that played a huge role in the innovations of American history. It’s important to “build a more inclusive, resilient and united society allowing America to remain a dominant country known for its strength, resilience and melting pot.

From a Spiritual Standpoint:

Regardless of what culture you identify with, “Humanity encompasses the qualities that make us human, including our ability to feel compassion, kindness, and empathy towards others”. Every life is valuable in the eyesight of God. True integrity for all cultures is finding ways of fostering a sense of belonging and solidarity amongst all. The second commandment for those with spiritual beliefs is to love their neighbor as thyself. All of mankind was made in the image of God the creator of all things. The word does not say to dominate humanity, ” Genesis 1:26, says, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth”; subdue the earth was given to humans as a blessing and a way to represent God on Earth.”

Let’s Pray:

Heavenly Father it’s understood for centuries that the nature of life is to dominate. We pray that America will someday soon be at peace with life as it was designed for all of humanity. The beauty of the multi-faceted America is the difference in culture that occupy it. We pray that every citizen will understand the important roles and responsibilities they contribute to the functioning and well-being of the nation. We pray that all of humanity will embrace, compassion, kindness, and empathy toward others. We pray that the struggles, differences, and hate that once plagued previous generations will be put to rest. Give America the wisdom to inhabit together and bury the ancient fight of ancestors who are no longer present.
