From Hadassah To Queen Esther

The bible speaks of a Queen name Esther. Queen Esther was bold, fearless, humble and obedient. She started life as a sweet young virgin girl named Hadassah who had a heart for her people. Can you imagine going from the citadel of Susa to living in the palace?

Life through the eyes of Hadassah who at a young age lost both her parents. Mordecai her cousin received her as his very own daughter. God has a way of orchestrating every event in our lives making sure we reach our destiny and step into purpose. He allows the right people to cross our paths at the right time. We must keep an open mind and remain open to the possibilities.

Walking in Obedience

Hadassah was respectful and obedient to Mordecai’s instructions. In order to become all that the Lord has ordained for her life, she had to be receptive to instruction. Mordecai advised her not to disclose her history and nationality when she arrives in the palace. Your obedience determines your outcome. Exodus 19:5 Has God instructed you to do something, and are you operating in obedience?

Graced with Favor

Mordecai gave specific instructions and Hadassah in her obedience was graced by God with the favor that led her to the palace. God allowed destiny helpers like Hegai the King’s eunuch who orchestrated beauty treatments, food, servants, and the best room in the harem. When we find favor with God he promises to provide, meet every need, protect and bless us with the desires of our hearts. He will even change your name to match your destiny. She found favor with all you saw her. Ephesians 1:11

The Divine Connection

When the King laid eyes on Esther, he was immediately attracted to her. Even though she was already beautiful in form and features, she obtained favor with King Xerxes. She received the royal crown and became Queen. You would think that this would be the end of a beautiful story, but Gods purpose was to free Hadassah’s people. Romans 8:28

From a Spiritual Standpoint: God knows the plans he has for you in spite of your beginnings. We can’t judge our future by an unfortunate beginning in life. God knows the plans he has for you if you would just stay in faith and operate in obedience. He will connect you with the right people and the right time to make sure you walk in your purpose. Continue to read your word, pray and trust God for your ordained journey. Remember as the Lord elevates you it’s not just about you. Gods greater purpose was to use Queen Esther to free her people and in her willingness to obey, she was blessed beyond measure.

Let’s Pray: Heavenly Father I pray that we will always walk in obedience to your will and plans for our lives. I pray that we connect with the right people for the journey you’ve set before us. I pray that nothing will stop us from destiny and the purpose of our lives. We thank you in advance for favor, provision, strength, wisdom and divine connections. Thank you for all the lives that will be changed because of it.
