I see you, but I don’t know what you’re saying. Your words are silent, and your nonverbal communication is conflicting. I don’t want to misunderstand you; the louder you get, the more distant you become. Are you trying to say something? Are you talking to me?
Subliminal Messages
Subliminal messages were derived in the late 19th century. History records ” 1898 termed “subliminal” was first coined by Psychologist E.W Scripture. He used it to describe stimuli that are below the threshold of conscious perception.” In the mid-20th century, it was used in advertisements as a marketing tool. From 1970 to 1980 it was considered backmasking in music to give hidden messages to the listener. Modern researchers lean more toward the effects it actually has on the brain. It’s replacing verbal communication. It’s perception and assumptions of what’s not being said. It’s not detectable by the human ear; a figment of the imagination. It’s manipulation without consent that impacts the psychological. It can be controversial and confusing. The misconceptions are greater; creating room for an inaccurate response.
Subliminal Possible Effects

Subliminality is a hiding place for avoiding accountability; and not taking ownership of the message or the outcome. You are being conditioned to read the mind of another. It’s a following of something that’s not actualized. Prolonged exposure can be harmful to your mental health. This could also be a form of gaslighting.

Watch the hidden motives attached to these messages. Ask yourself; what someone is trying to convey to you without avoiding real dialogue. Stick to ethical standards. Reduce your exposure to avoid negative effects. It’s a combination of scientific inquiries, public fascination, and ethical debate.
From a Spiritual Standpoint:
Ultimately there are pros and cons to subliminal messages. It can be used to reinforce positive affirmations and improve spiritual growth. A tool for meditating and relaxing through music. It can align with laws of attraction when the intention is to focus on certain outcomes. It can also be used for emotional healing while canceling negative self-talk. The word of God says ” And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds” and do not conform to the patterns of this world, be transformed by the renewing of the mind. The mind is the epicenter of your existence and it should be guarded. The mind shouldn’t be the playground for another.
Let’s Pray:
Heavenly Father, we know the multi-faceted world you’ve created for us to inhabit. The creativity and the many ways to create and communicate are inevitable. The world encourages the importance of protecting the mind and the need to renew it daily. The mind should be set on things above and peace should occupy those spaces. We pray for a healthy mind that allows us to test and approve what is pleasing and perfect in alignment with you. Let us identify when ungodly spirits seek to manipulate the mind and the wisdom to reject them. We cancel every effort through subliminal messages.
