What Are The Benefits of Prayer

What Are the Benefits of Prayer?

There are several benefits to having a consistent prayer life. The bible encourages you to pray continuously. It also says that “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man/woman availeth much.” Jame 5:16 How often do you pray? If you do pray, how have you benefited from it?

Four benefits to having a prayerful life style:

The first allows you to communicate with God on a personal level. It allows you to confess your sin, ask him for what you need, seek answers, reverence him, and thank him for all that he’s already done.

Confidence is another benefit you receive when you pray; knowing that God is listening and you matter. The word tells you “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it to completion until the day of Christ.”Philippians 1:6

There may be times in your life when you need strength for various reasons. Prayer brings forth necessary strength that enables you to continue. It builds your core and gives you resilience. Deuteronomy 31:6

The final and most important is Faith. Pray builds faith as you speak what God says concerning you. Knowing how he feels about you increases your faith and gives you hope. Faith gives you the ability to trust and believe God for what seems impossible. Galatians 3:9

From a Spiritual Standpoint: Prayer allows you to release whats in your hands into Gods hands. It allows you to connect to heaven. Prayer will bring peace into difficult situations. So don’t give up, extend yourself in prayer and allow it to transform your life.

Let’s Pray: Heavenly Father teach us how to pray and allow our prayers to be effective. As we pray according to your will we know that you hear our supplications. We thank you for confidence, strength, peace, and the increase of our faith.
